Comparing With other traditional flow meter or ultrasonic flow meter, it has distinctive features such as high precision, high reliability, high capability and low cost, the flow meter features other advantages:

1. FT201 can be used together with RTD model and temperature sensor to become an energy meter for measuring the heat and cold consumption of heating pipes and air conditioning refrigeration pipes.
2. Plug-in and external clamp sensors are available, and a pair of sensors can be used for all pipe diameters.
3.The upper temperature limit of ordinary standard plug-in sensor is 130℃.

Description

AT201 is an economical time difference ultrasonic flow meter specially for water. Compared with other ultrasonic flow meters on the market, it has the characteristics of high reaction rate, low power consumption and high stability. It still continues the TGA technology independently developed.

TGA is a high-speed, high-precision process time measurement algorithm, which is successfully developed by our company after studying the ultrasonic time measurement algorithm and referring to various existing TDC algorithms. The time measurement accuracy of “TGA” can reach tens of ps. At the same time, it has the characteristics of simple installation and convenient use of ultrasonic flowmeter, and the installation can be completed without breaking the pipe and stopping work without stopping water.

Working Principle

When the ultrasonic signal is transmitted through the flowing liquid, there will be a difference between the upstream and downstream transit time ( travel time or time of flight ), which is proportional to flow velocity, according to the formula below.

Remark:

V: Medium Velocity

M: Ultrasonic frequency of reflection

D: Pipe Diameter

θ: The angle between the ultrasonic signal and the flow

Tup: Transit time in the forward direction

Tdown: Transit time in the reverse direction
